We’re updating how account security works on the Foundry Platform to make everyday access simpler, while keeping strong protection in place for sensitive information.
What’s changing
All users will be asked to verify the email address linked to their account.
Once an email is verified, signing in will no longer require a two-factor authentication step each time. Instead, verification will be requested only when completing certain payment-related actions.
Why we made this change
We heard consistent feedback from foundries that the previous login experience, which required a third-party authenticator app and repeated verification at every sign-in, created unnecessary friction in day-to-day work.
This update is a direct response to that feedback.
By moving to email verification and applying two-factor authentication only where it matters most, we’re making it easier to access your account while maintaining strong protection for sensitive actions.
What this means for you
- Simpler, faster access to your account without repeated login steps
- No need to rely on a third-party authenticator app for everyday access
- Fewer interruptions during your workflow
- Added protection when managing payments and sensitive actions
- A more streamlined and reliable account experience
What you need to do
If prompted, please verify your email address to ensure uninterrupted access to the Foundry Platform.
