The Foundry Health Meter is a module on your foundry home page dashboard. The Health Meter lists key to-do items we recommend to ensure your foundry is merchandised successfully to reach customers effectively in our platforms.
By actively completing the milestones, you can improve the way your foundry and fonts are presented on our platforms, including being shown higher in the search results. Based on our research, we know fonts and foundries that are fully merchandised and have the latest licensing models resonate more with customers. The Foundry Health Meter is a handy tool to help you ensure you’re doing the key things to reach customers in the best way possible.

What happens once I’ve completed everything on the checklist?
- Answer: Awesome! You’re doing great. Occasionally we’ll add additional items to contribute to your foundry health. When we do, we’ll let you know in an email newsletter, in-platform message, and/or webinar. Check back in regularly to make sure you’re still up to date!
How do I know once I’ve completed an item and improved my foundry health score?
- Answer: The check box in the list will turn green and your health meter will show signs of improvement.
How long does it take for my health meter to improve once I’ve completed an item on the checklist?
- Answer: Once the information is updated, it will take up to an hour to reflect on our website.
What does the Health Meter actually do?
- Answer: The foundry health meter directly controls a score that influences how your fonts are prioritized in search results and in other areas of our platforms. We want to show fonts to customers that we believe will resonate more with them, and our research shows that foundries who fully merchandise their brand presence is a better experience for customers.
Why did we create the Foundry Health Meter?
- Answer: We heard loud and clear from our partners that they’d like more recommendations and guidance for how to improve their presence on our platforms. We also know that fonts from foundries that are merchandised more completely sell better. Therefore, we’ve created this module to ensure we’re helping our partners grow. We want to incentivize you to improve your brand and reward those who do so!
What happens if I remove information from my profile that’s in the Health Meter?
- Answer: If you delete existing content on your Foundry info page and your completion score decreases, you will receive a notification regarding this change, and your foundry’s health will decline, resulting in reduced visibility for your fonts.
