How are fonts selected for MyFonts newsletters?
Customers drive the content of MyFonts marketing newsletters. The marketing team identifies families that are selling well, i.e. in hot new fonts, bestsellers, or ones that have a promotion that is performing well. They also look for fonts to highlight in emails that have family packs that are a really great deal and whose prices could appeal to the most people. The emails are most effective when they appeal to the greatest number of people. More customers would make an impulse purchase of something that is less than $50 than something that is over $100. The marketing team also examines other factors when selecting inventory for their campaigns, all related to customer demand, like conversion rate, page visits, image quality, and more. They examine font trends in graphic design that are popular. If your fonts are performing well, have compelling images and reasonable prices, there is a good chance you'll be selected for a marketing email.
How are fonts selected for MyFonts Free Font Friday emails?
Our marketing team selects fonts that contain a free font style to be included in the Free Font Friday newsletter. Free Font Friday emails do not contain free “demo” fonts, which are incomplete fonts with a smaller character set.
How do Staff Picks work?
Staff picks are selected by looking at the styles of fonts resonating with customers. We choose a mix of fonts from large and small foundries and that are new and old! Staff picks appear randomized in the list in the bottom center of the MyFonts homepage.
How do Experts Choice work?
Fonts that are selected as an “Experts Choice” have been evaluated for quality and completeness. They are from reputable foundries, have large character sets, extra font features, and compelling images. Expert Choice fonts appear randomized in the left block of the rotating homepage carousel.
