Introduction
Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your account on the Foundry Platform. But what if you lose your phone or want to enable 2FA on a new device?
Here's a step-by-step guide to help you out.
Procedure
Email Foundry Support
Send an email to foundrysupport@monotype.com stating that you need assistance with 2FA due to a lost phone or want to enable it on a new device and include your email address associated with your Foundry Platform account.
Reset 2FA Login
Foundry Support team will assist you in resetting your QR code and login code for 2FA.
Setup on New Device
Once you've contacted us and received confirmation that your 2FA is reset, follow these steps to set up 2FA on your new device:
- Install your preferred authentication app (Auth0 Guardian or Google Authenticator) on your new mobile device.
- Follow the instructions provided in the article Two-Factor Authentication Set Up and Log In to set up 2FA using the QR code or manual entry method.
- Ensure you save any recovery codes provided by the authentication app in a secure location.
- Once set up, you'll be able to log in securely to the Foundry Platform on your new device.
